US 10-Year Treasury Speculator Positions turned slightly bullish last week – COT Report

Weekly CFTC Net Speculator Report

10 Year Treasuries: Large trader and speculator positions for 10-year treasury notes in the futures markets rose last week to a small bullish position. 10-year treasury contracts increased to a total net position of +11,903 total contracts in the data reported for July 30th. This is an increase of 44,215 from the previous week’s total of -32,312 net contracts on July 23rd. In the same timeframe, the 10 Year yield increased from 2.53 on Tuesday July 23rd to 2.63 on Tuesday July 30th, according to US Treasury data.
