Euro hits record high against U.S. Dollar.

The Euro reached an all time record high against the U.S. dollar today as the EUR/USD currency pair eclipsed the 1.5000 barrier to reach 1.5088(updated). The previous record high was set in November at 1.4967 dollars per one euro. The record level was reached after poor consumer confidence and home price data were released out of the U.S. in conjunction with unexpectedly positive economic news out of Germany.
