News roundup: Treasury Secretary Paulson works to contain a "debacle".

News Roundup:

Bloomberg has a good story on U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and his obstacles after leaving Goldman Sachs and joining government. The Financial Times(FT.com) meanwhile has an interesting article on the benefits and "pitfalls" of the global economy and how the mortgage crisis effects are felt globally. Read it here.
